Augrabies National Park, South Africa
The magnificent view from Gorge Cottage at Augrabies National Park. A massive dust storm coloured the sky and the surrounds orange, making for a very dramatic landscape

Secrets to the wind
If you reveal your secrets to the wind,
you should not blame the wind for revealing them to the trees.

Egyptian Goose Photo by Andre Liebenberg — National Geographic Your Shot:
This Egyptian Goose seemed totally relaxed in a dam which was absolutely littered with crocodiles. Maybe the cooler weather caused the crocodiles to be less active and less threatening

Island disparity
Away from the luxurious hotels and villas, life is a whole lot different for normal Mauritians. An amazing experience seeing the real Island and its people
Alone on the Beach
I need to apologize to my followers for not posting new images in ages - guess life happened. I have been going through a number of old images that I like or might even have missed
In my search I have came across this photograph, which I really liked. One does get rewarded for getting up early - catching the proverbial worm

Focus - Photographic Exhibition by Andre Liebenberg
Andre was born and raised in Boksburg, east of Johannesburg. After school he studied conservation Biology and Nature conservation, where he worked in Kruger National Park for three years. During his time in Kruger, photo-taking tourists always surrounded him. Soon after Andre combined tourism with his conservation background and became a tour guide and travel consultant. This offered him the opportunity to travel within South Africa.
Andre soon realized that a passion for photography had started to grow from within, and he needed to learn more about the technical side of photography. Armed with an entry level DSLR camera, Andre enrolled at Vega School of Photography, and soon Andre became a photographer
Unconsciously he developed an eye for lines, which are evident in his travel and landscape photography - lines invite each viewer to gaze deeper into each photograph – adding depth and linear perspective. Having studied Conservation, nature has always been a source of influence and continues to inspire him to grow as a photographer
With Andre’s premier exhibition he wants his viewers to look a little deeper and a little closer – inviting you to experience the world through his eyes

Over time his photography has developed from centered images to some more thought provoking images to where we are today – Andre’s first exhibition
The exhibition will run from 9 to 30 November 2017 and will be open to the public.
All images are for sale at a cost of R1500 each. For more information, or the placing of orders, please contact me. All photographs on display are limited to 5 prints.
You may visit the exhibition from Monday to Thursday from 10am to 19:30 pm, and Saturdays from 9am to 12:30 at the Alliance Francais de Pretoria, 99 River Road, Arcadia
